Kristen Vass

Hello, I’m Kristen! I am a fourth-generation settler and spent most of my life in a rural farming community on Treaty 4 Territory. That is still the land that feels most like home to me, and I enjoy getting back there to put my feet in the dirt whenever possible. I have been a practicing social worker since 2013 and have spent my career primarily in case management and clinical roles in the field of disability. I am working on my Master of Social Work degree at the University of Regina. I plan to complete my research practicum, the final component of my degree, with the project in Spring 2023. I am amazed and humbled to be part of such a remarkable group of individuals, and I am ready to learn, stretch and grow as I engage in this important work.
